This subject is fascinating and as such over the years has caused Melissa to further her studies in many related areas including counselling, lifecoaching and educating the public in how to better balance their lifestyle to enable better health throughout their body. Stress management is a major component of Melissa’s work. This area of clinical medicine is interesting as hair has been called the Barometer of Health and it can be a reflection of an individual’s lifestyle, indicating stresses, tensions and variations in the body systems.
Problems dealt with range from those of the scalp including “dandruff”, dry or oily scalp, to more inflammatory conditions; hair texture problems are also within this domain and often respond well to correcting treatment alongside appropriate homecare advice.
